Specify, distribute, and control the assignment of roles and responsibilities of team members with access to your console.
Assigning roles in the console
From the Users Module of your merchant's console, you can execute the following actions:
- Assign the type of role and permissions that your team members will have to manage your merchant's console: to learn how to configure this module, visit our user configuration guide.
- Share sensitive information only to the people who require it: you can manage the assignment of roles and responsibilities for the administration of this platform.
- Assign a single or multiple roles for each user: make sure to review the descriptions and explanation of accesses below to identify the appropriate role based on the role assignment you've determined for each of your team members.
Enabling permissions by role type
We tell you what are the roles that you can enable for each of the members of your team.
Permissions for Master User
- Role description: it corresponds to the main user of your merchant. This person will be in charge of creating the remaining users.
- Available modules in the console:
- Home:
- Home dashboard.
- Transactions:
- Charges: view charges, request returns.
- Payments: view payments, check payment methods, ticket number, amount, and status of the transactions, and download consolidated transactions.
- Chargebacks: view chargebacks, upload documents from the chargeback process.
- My Merchant:
- View payment methods and active services, billing and collection data from Kushki, view configured business rules.
- Users:
- Create, edit, and delete users.
- Subscriptions:
- View, edit, and delete subscriptions.
- Reports:
- Create, download, clone, and delete reports.
- Settings:
- Upload logo and colors, set language and time zone, set support contacts, customize transfer portal (Chile), set transaction notifications*
- Developers:
- Check and add credentials (public and private keys), view and edit available Webhooks, view Webhook notifications, including the status of each one of them.
- Support:
- Read access to Kushki's knowledge base and support platforms.
- Home:
* Keep in mind that some options will only be available when your merchant's account is in production.
Permissions for User Creator
- Role Description:
- Create, edit, and delete users and permissions.
- Available modules in the console:

- Create, edit, and delete users.
- Subscriptions:
- View, edit, and delete subscriptions.
- Support:
- Read access to Kushki's knowledge base and support platforms.
- Users:

Permissions for Master Smartlinks
- Role description:
- Create, edit, and delete Smartlinks.
- Available modules in the console:

- Smartlinks:
- Create, edit, clone, or delete Smartlinks.
- Review and track the number of transactions, ID, payment type, and status of the smartlinks created.
- Support:
- Read access to Kushki's knowledge base and support platforms.
- Smartlinks:

Permissions for Smartlinks
- Role description:
- Create Smartlinks and check existing Smartlinks.
- Available modules in the console:

- Smartlinks:
- Create Smartlinks.
- Support:
- Read access to Kushki's knowledge base and support platforms.
- Smartlinks:

Permissions for Read-only user
- Role description:
- Display the configuration made in the console in the available modules.
- Available modules in the console:
- Home, Transactions, Subscriptions:
- Access and display of information.
- Transactions:
- View and download transactions.
- Support:
- Read access to Kushki's knowledge base and support platforms.
- Home, Transactions, Subscriptions:
Permissions for Credentials master
- Role description:
- Manage credentials, master keys and secondary keys.
- Available modules in the console:

- Credentials:
- Create and edit credentials for secondary merchants.
- Manage the master keys of a merchant.
- Adjust a primary master key to a secondary one, or vice versa

Permissions for Virtual POS
- Role description:
- It acts independently to charge customers without having to interact or access information from the console.
- Available modules in the console:

- The management of this access is used without logging into the console of your merchant.

⚠️Important: Keep in mind that users who obtain this profile cannot have a different profile assigned to them. |
Check the roles assigned of a user
If you need to verify the roles that you have assigned to each of the users of your work team, perform the following steps:
- Enter your console with your username and password.
- In the main side menu, select the Users module.
- Identify the name of the user you want to query in the Roles column.
- The row for each user shows the primary role. Pull down the selector to see all the roles assigned to that user.
